When Jesus healed the ten lepers, He showed us the power of kindness and the importance of thankfulness. These men were sick and outcast from their communities, but when they called out to Jesus, He didn’t ignore them. He listened, cared, and told them to go show themselves to the priests.
As they went, they were healed! Imagine their joy! But only one came back to say thank you. That man was not only healed in his body, but Jesus also praised his faith.
This story reminds us that Jesus sees everyone, even when others don’t, and that a thankful heart is something He values. Teachers can encourage children to look for ways to say “thank you” to God and to others every day – it’s a beautiful way to show faith and love.
