Jacob and his mother Rebekah came up with a clever plan to trick Isaac into giving Jacob the blessing meant for Esau. Jacob dressed in his brother’s clothes and covered his arms with goat skin so he would feel hairy, just like Esau. Isaac was old and could not see well, so when Jacob came to him, Isaac was confused. He said, “The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.” Even though something felt off, Isaac gave Jacob the blessing.
This story reminds us that God’s plans are bigger than our mistakes. Even when people make choices that are not fully honest, God is still at work. He had already told Rebekah that Jacob would carry on the family promise, and nothing could stop that from happening.

Instructions
- Colour and cut out the pieces.
- Apply glue to shoulders and stick on arms – twist the shoulders slightly inwards to make the arms pop out.
