Palm Sunday Jesus rides a donkey

The people in the crowd KNEW Jesus was God! They had seen His miracles, they heard His words from heaven. They were convinced, and they thought Jesus was about to declare Himself king. They celebrated His arrival into Jerusalem. They honored Him by laying their clothes on the dirty dusty road.

Palm branches were waved as their hearts swelled with happiness and laid down for the donkey to walk over.

They celebrated the presence of Jesus. There were not solemn or stiff. Let’s show our children JOY when we draw near to God.
