In the Garden of Eden, Eve faced a choice that many of us still understand today: who to listen to and who to trust. God had given Adam and Eve everything they needed and a clear instruction to protect them. But the serpent twisted God’s words, planting doubt and making disobedience seem appealing. Eve’s temptation reminds us how easily confusion can grow when we stop listening carefully to God’s truth.

This story helps children understand that choices matter, even the small ones. It also shows that temptation often sounds convincing and can appeal to our curiosity or desire for more. The good news is that God did not stop loving Adam and Eve after their mistake. Instead, He continued His plan to rescue humanity, showing His mercy and grace.

Teachers can use this story to encourage children to think about wise choices, honesty, and trusting God’s Word, even when other voices compete for their attention.

Bible references: Genesis 2:16–17; Genesis 3:1–13; James 1:14–15

They brought meaningful gifts: gold for His royalty, frankincense for His divinity, and myrrh, foreshadowing His sacrifice. When they found Jesus, they bowed in worship, showing that His love reaches everyone. Afterward, they obeyed God’s warning to avoid Herod, returning home by another route. Their journey inspires us to seek Jesus, offer our best to Him, and follow His guidance in our lives.
